<aside> šŸ what is it? "the snake sings as it sheds its skin in the starlit orchard" (or SSSSSO) is a collective dreaming experience that weaves together dreams, plants, and community with the idea that sharing and creating with our dreams is a liberatory practice.

the format consists of five virtual meetings, two weeks apart, during which we will connect, share, and practice playing with our dreams so that they can be amplified in our waking lives. we will do an all-night dream incubation for the winter solstice that features original live music/sound inspired by our dreams.

our group will also have access to a private group chat on signal to continue the dreamweaving in between sessions. participants will be encouraged to share their dreams and dream-related art, sounds, writing, etc. on the signal group chat.

included in registration is a 1-on-1 freq of nature essence consultation session that can be used any time between when the course begins and the summer solstice (june 20, 2025) to support working with a personal or the collective dream.

<aside> 🌟 what’s the story behind this offering?

SSSSSO is rooted in a curiosity about what happens when people share their dreams without judgement. rather than exiting and analyzing the dream, we will practice staying with the dream and playing with the dream — and creating with our dreams.

i’m not claiming to be an expert in dream interpretation, nor is that the goal of this offering. my intention is to create an echo chamber for dreams, a place to allow them to grow and transform, and in doing so, allow our dreams to transform and liberate us.

i’m also excited to combine my love of herbal and energetic medicines with my passion for listening, dreaming, making music, and holding group space.

this collective dreaming work is deeply inspired by the dreaming practices that I learned in my Deep ListeningĀ® facilitator training from IONE and many other wonderful Deep ListeningĀ® teachers and colleagues. the name for this experience, the snake sings as it sheds its skin in the starlit orchard, is, in and of itself, a weaving of dreams and collective space-holding experiments that have been evolving since the winter of 2021. as i’ve begun bringing this dream into my waking hours, the dream continues to evolve, and as it changes, it changes me. i’m excited to continue to expand this dream with others.

if it seems strange to be focusing on dreams at a time when so many are suffering and struggling for their lives, let me be clear: i believe that working with our dreams in community and creating from our dreams is a liberatory practice. amidst the grief, anger, overwhelm, those of us who have the privilege to do so must continue to dream and take action in our waking hours in pursuit of hope, compassion, and freedom.

this offering is intended for people who have an active dream life, whether these are sleeping or waking dreams, and who desire to deepen their relationship with these dreams.

<aside> šŸ’ reflections from past participants

ā€œPracticing dream recall in a group context with Grace as our leader and germinator of dream seeds has made me feel more connected to myself and my community through our minds, bodies, and spirits. This has truly been a healing experience for me, and I am so grateful to my fellow dream weavers.ā€ - 2023 participant

ā€œThe course not only transformed the nature of my dreams but also fostered a deep collective connection within the group. As my dreams began merging and evolving during our shared experiences, it significantly reshaped my dream landscape. This shift has changed the way I dream, and my relationship with my dreams is now less anxiety-ridden and more magical. It also inspired me creatively. I'm genuinely grateful for the positive impact this course has had on my dream experience.ā€ - 2023 participant
