Meeting the Medicine
To introduce yourself to your formula, find a quiet moment to take a breath and tune in.
Invite any distracting inner voices to step to the side.
Say hello to your new plant+ fam. You might even introduce yourself by name and state an intention for collaborating with these new allies.
Take a few drops on the tongue and notice your response: Where do you feel the formula in your body first? How does it move within you? What sensations, images, words, sounds, or other associations emerge as you continue to sit with it?
Taking Your Formula Regularly
For regular dosing, I recommend taking 4 drops, 4x/day, or as intuited. You can take drops directly on your tongue, add to drinks, apply drops to body parts or acupuncture points that feel resonant, drop in a bath for an immersive experience, on paper before writing/making art, or on your pillow for dreaming. Creativity in building a consistent relationship with your formula is encouraged!
It may be helpful to reconnect to your intention for working with this formula whenever you dose. Essences work on a basis of frequency of interaction rather than amount consumed: The more often we return to our formula, the more we build the relationship of resonance. It may be helpful to take notes so you can notice changes over time.
It’s recommended that you take your formula as consistently as possible for at least two weeks to observe shifts. Finish the bottle, or reduce use as guided by your intuition.
