Grace (she / they) is a vibrational essence practitioner, a New York-licensed clinical psychotherapist (LMSW), Deep Listening® facilitator, and artist with a background in activism, organizational change, and media. Grace is passionate about the pursuit of resonance and explores this in all of her work, including creating and sharing essences. She lives and listens on the ancestral lands of the Mohican and Schaghticoke peoples. Her music project is Grays. For more on her creative projects and performances, visit her CV.
Grace has studied essence-making and essence consultation practitioner skills with a variety of teachers and offers gratitude to those who she has learned from, and those throughout time who have practiced listening to and amplifying the wisdom of plants and other non-human kin:
Grace has engaged in additional herbal studies with Sarah Holmes of Blue Otter School of Herbal Medicine and Robin Rose Bennett, and first learned to listen to plants from her mother and her grandmother. Her greatest teacher of plant medicine is the plants themselves.
She obtained her Masters in Social Work from Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis in 2011 where she created her own concentration in Arts-Based Interventions in Marginalized Communities. She holds a BA in International Studies and English from Saint Louis University.
